The Holocaust Engine by David Rike and Stephen Patrick

Month: September 2024

Local Author event at Half Price Books Flagship – After Action Report

Amazing day with Stephen Patrick and David Rike at the Half Price Books flagship in Dallas, courtesy of the Half Price Books. It’s still a bucket list item to be invited to our hometown bookseller (more than a few of our stories were inspired from pieces we found there). We had our best single day of sales as well as dozens of chats about our series, our writing, and our next projects. We also sold my favorite “survive” bookcharm, courtesy of the bookmark collection of poppingcharmsjewelry.

As promised, “Genre Fight” returned for round 3 and picked up dozens of new stars, with Horror closing ground on Fantasy (maybe thanks to Halloween).

We were blessed to share the time and space with Jenna Hartley, who was gracious enough to tell us about her romance writing and her projects.

If you’re local to Dallas-Ft. Worth, or just passing through, don’t forget to check out their local author series which brings talented writers from across the area to talk about stories, storytelling, and have a great time with writers, readers, fans, and families!

The Holocaust Engine is going back to Half Price Book-Dallas! Sept 29th from 1 to 3.

One of our favorite things is to meet fans and readers and talk about our series, our writing and the creative arts.

On Sept 29th, from 1p-3p, David Rike and I will be back at the Half Price Books flagship store in Dallas!

This is one of our favorite places to talk about reading and find the inspiration that you can only find among the shelves and stacks. It’s also a great place to meet readers and fans and talk about our favorite fiction, including the Holocaust Engine. We will be selling and signing copies of The Holocaust Engine and Fluid Shock. The Audiobook of The Holocaust Engine is also available, so we’ll have cards to sign for those who prefer to listen to our story!

We’re bringing back “the Board of Destiny” and our fan-favorite participation battle, “Genre Fight”.

We hope to see you there!
